By Will Morey, Business Director at Gamma Business

I opened Gammaverse 2025 with the most important message of the day; by saying thank you.

Thank you to our partners for your trust, for the way you’ve helped us grow market share, and for continuing to stand with us as we move into the next chapter together. At Gammaverse, we made sure that we put our partners centre stage.

My message was clear: our focus is on listening, on standing shoulder to shoulder with our partners, and on delivering against our shared ambitions. I reminded the room that Edge is not just another programme. Rather, it’s a promise and a commitment to how we will work, invest, and win together.

Setting the scene

For me, Gammaverse focused on honesty, challenge, and debate.

To build on that, Holly Mack set the tone for the day with her “Voice of the Channel” presentation. She shared insight into partner sentiment, market opportunities, and the challenges ahead. Her sessions focused on reinforcing that everything we do must be grounded in the voices of the channel.

The sessions reflected that spirit of openness. Alan Shraga’s panel put tough questions directly to the Gamma team. That kind of challenge is essential if we’re to keep improving and pushing forward together. We also heard from Martin Hellawell, whose reflections on a long and successful career in tech reminded us that lasting success is about alignment, culture, and focus.

Launching Webex for Gamma

The standout moment was the full launch of Webex for Gamma.

This wasn’t just a product announcement. It was the culmination of months of collaboration with over 200 partners, who worked alongside us to shape the proposition, refine the journeys, and build the go-to-market model.

That collaboration paid off. By the time we officially launched at Gammaverse, we already had over 4,000 live subscriptions delivered through the channel.

This wasn’t an idea waiting for adoption. It was proof that when we work together, we can move faster than the market and deliver results before we even hit the stage.

Hearing directly from Associated Telecom, who shared their success with Webex, underlined the momentum. Webex for Gamma represents a platform for growth and differentiation across the channel.

Innovation with impact

Beyond Webex, we also spotlighted:

  • iPECS: Brought to life by Blizzard, who showed how customers are thriving with the platform.
  • Portal development: Colin Lees demonstrated how we’re simplifying provisioning and management.
  • Macro and market context: Bill Castell and Paul Billingham gave valuable perspective on the economic backdrop shaping the channel.

All of this was about showing that our roadmap is aligned with where partners see opportunity.

Inspiration, the Gamma way

We opened with Sam Conniff’s “Be More Pirate”. Our first keynote energised the crowd with a call to be bold and rewrite the rules. We closed with Joe Marler, who delivered a raw, funny, and brutally honest session.

Different voices, same message. Progress doesn’t come from staying comfortable!

My Gammaverse takeaway

Gammaverse 2025 was about more than products and roadmaps. It was about showing how we’re aligned, while proving that Edge is a commitment. We effectively set the stage for what we’ll achieve together next.

The launch of Webex for Gamma showed what’s possible when we collaborate at scale. 200 partners shaped the proposition, and 4,000 subscriptions were live before launch. Certainly, it’s a platform that will carry us forward together.

That’s what makes Gamma different. Partnership, honesty, and the courage to do things differently.

Because at Gamma, it’s never built around us. It’s built around you.
