Gamma announces John Murphy as Managing Director of Gamma Business, expanding his role to focus on the Channel growth opportunity.
London, UK 4th June 2024 – Gamma Communications plc (“Gamma”), a leading provider of technology-based communication services across Europe, today announced that John Murphy, current COO of Gamma, will expand his responsibilities to the Gamma business unit, which encompasses the Channel, Service Provider and SME routes to market. John brings with him a wealth of experience and a thorough understanding of the market, having worked for Gamma for almost 15 years in a range of roles.
This announcement comes as Daryl Pile, who has played a vital role in the evolution of the UK wholesale channel community within Gamma, leaves the business to pursue another opportunity. During his 21 years with Gamma Daryl held several senior roles covering wholesale, dealer and public sector business units.
John Murphy, joined Gamma in 2011 and has held several leadership roles within the organisation, including his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer. He has successfully implemented process improvements, strategic initiatives, and created an award-winning customer services department. John’s experience and skills make him the ideal leader to support Gamma and its partners to capitalise on the current market opportunity.
