Gamma launches new Authorised Distributor tier to Partner Programme

Gamma Communications plc (“Gamma”), a leading unified communications provider, has launched a new tier to their award-winning Partner Programme specifically for Authorised Distributors.

With the continued merge of IT and communications services, Gamma identified the need to develop an offering specific to distributor partners. The programme offers additional sales and go-to-market support, commercial differentiation and an overall proposition tailored specifically to the distributor.

As organisations have reacted and adapted to the new ways of working imposed on us in 2020, the necessity for an agile and flexible communications infrastructure has never been more evident. This new element to the Partner Programme ensures partners can capitalise on the UC opportunities available in the market.

The launch of this new tier to the programme coincides with Gamma signing an agreement with Giacom, the customer-first cloud services distributor for IT companies, to become the first Authorised Distribution Partner for its Microsoft Teams Direct Routing Service. With support from Giacom and Gamma’s solutions, IT service providers will be able to offer their end-user customers technology that delivers simple, consistent and cost-effective communication and collaboration, helping them to meet their need for flexibility and productivity.

Mike Mills, Gamma’s Head of Cloud and Infrastructure comments: “Gamma’s Partner Programme has gone from strength to strength since inception, opening new tiers to recognise the changing market. It was clear from the very first engagement with Giacom that there were many similarities in our businesses and how we approach the channel, so enabling Giacom as our first distribution Partner sees benefits to both parties. Throughout the discussions what became clear was that our experience and market leading position in IP Voice, coupled with Giacom’s Cloud Market and Microsoft Teams capabilities, was going to be a winning combination.”

Steve Law, CTO, Giacom, says: “The partnership with Gamma helps our customers find a suitable product which is cost-effective and straightforward to manage their communications. We’re excited to be Gamma’s first distribution partner, and with enhanced communication being more important than ever before, especially during these unprecedented times, we’re sure this solution will bring great value and benefits to our customers.
